Hampton Group student Daniel Clark received a highly competetive scholarship from the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation. He and two other students from Hope College received three of the 252 Goldwater Scholarships awarded nationwide this year.
Dan’s research eassay, on the energy storage properties of hexacyanoferrate thin films, was based on his work in the Hampton Group for the past two years.
The scholarship will be for two years and will and cover the cost of tuition, fees, books, and room and board up to a maximum of $7,500 each year.
